Designed by Alvar Aalto, the building previously known as Otaniemi’s old shopping centre, currently shopping centre A Blanc, was modernised to serve diverse business operations with respect to its historical value.

Beer and whiskey house Vesiheinä is a completely new restaurant concept that will open its doors in renewed shopping centre A Blanc.

The family business, which has been operating in Espoo since 2002, is opening a new store in renewed shopping centre A Blanc.

The original Shortcut hair salon was founded approximately 30 years ago in Tapiola, Espoo. The core concept has remained the same over the years: high quality service and upscale and cosy salons. Now the fourth Shortcut salon, Shortcut AALTO, is opening its doors in the renewed shopping centre A Blanc.

You will find Terveystalo's experienced and skilled healthcare and well-being professionals in new premises on shopping centre A Blanc’s second floor.

The renovation of the beautiful building designed by Alvar Aalto will be completed by summer.

The terrace will be located at the front of the building in front of the covered corridor and will be completed on the same schedule as the rest of the renovation project in spring 2021.

Known as Otaniemi’s old shopping centre and designed by Alvar Aalto, the renovation began in March 2020 on Aalto University’s campus.
